Class Overview:
This is an advanced shotgun shooting course. This course is ideal for people who want to improve their efficient handling of a shotgun.
The class will cover safety, proper operation and manipulation, marksmanship, shooting positions, weapon transitioning, basic stoppage clearing, ammunition, shooting on the move, use of cover, gear and accessories and retention and retrieval.
Requirements:
- Fundamental shotgun knowledge
- Remington 870 or equivalent
- 3 point tactical sling
- Comfortable attire
- Knee and elbow pads (recommended)
- Primary handgun and holster
- Ammunition: 50 buckshot, 20 slugs, 100 handgun rounds
